IT Operations Manager in Delivery Vendor Management (m/f/d)

As a primary digitization partner of the Bundeswehr, we provide stable, safe and efficient IT services in Germany and abroad, from basic operations to the field close to the application and thus contribute to the continuous increase in the leadership and operational capacity of the Bundeswehr. With more than 8,000 colleagues, we operate and modernise one of the largest and most complex IT infrastructures in Germany. Delivery Vendor Management is part of the delivery organization of the BWI. It takes over the general contractorship for complex topics and controls external partners for optimal performance. For reinforcement in this field of activity, we are looking for an expert (m/w/d) who controls an operating team with the customer and is always optimised in terms of cost and resource use. Controlling a team of IT specialists and promoting a productive working environment

Coordination of all agreed services for both internal and external service providers

Responsibility for the IT budget in the defined task area with ensuring effective resource use, optimization and cost minimisation

Coordination of personnel deployment to fulfill the agreed IT service

Communication within the team, the client and possible external service providers or Subcontractors

Ensuring proactive communication to unplanned events and escalation instances over stakeholders

Requirements management according to agreed processes

Complete subject-related study or comparable qualification

At least six years of professional experience in these tasks

Very good knowledge of IT operating management and the management of external service providers

Successful experience in managing complex projects and managing target conflicts

Professional knowledge of ITSM processes and their implementation High sense of responsibility, strong team skills and cost, quality and service awareness

German language skills
