The SOS-Kinderdorf e.V. is a renowned aid organisation and a free, non-profit institution of child and youth assistance with 38 facilities throughout the federal territory and around 5,200 employees. The SOS Children's Village Prignitz offers a habitat and meeting place for children, young people and parents. Our help from a single source includes children's daycare facilities, early help, educational counselling centres, youth and school social work, a multi-generation house, a children's and youth campus centre and the urban children's village with two children's and youth groups, as well as two mother/ father-child groups in Wittenberge. For our SOS Children's Village Prignitz we are looking for a Senior Consultant (m/w/d) in parttime (20 hours/Where) Your task: Do you want to make a valuable contribution to the well-being of young children who are in a particularly challenging situation of life? As a social pedagoguein or a psychologistin accompany you in our inobservatory and advise not only the children but also their source systems. Be part of our multi-professional team and use your skills to provide protection, stability and perspectives for young children. Your main tasks include: Children's accompaniment: You create an atmosphere of security and stability, accompany the infants empathically through the phase of inobservation and promote their development. Collaboration with the system of origin: You advise parents and relatives value-estimating and empathic, help to develop solutions, and support in challenging moments. Planning and coordination: Together with the team, you will actively participate in the reception, assistance and education planning and coordinate support and diagnostic offers. Multi-professional cooperation: You work closely with colleagues from different disciplines, exchange regularly and develop viable solutions for children. Child protection: You consistently respect the well-being of children and implement protection concepts sensitively and professionally.

Qualification: Complete study of social education or psychology or a comparable subject. Professional experience: Ideally, you will bring practical experience in working with young children or in observatory places. Empathy and communication strength: You meet children, parents with openness, patience and appreciation. Your empathic attitude allows you to create a secure framework even in difficult situations.
