Plant Operator - Machine Operator / Electrical Engineering / Process Mechanics (m/f/d)

With Passion we produce float glass, extra white glass, laminated safety glass, as well as coated glasses for use in the field of heat and sun protection at our German sites Haldensleben and Osterweddingen, in the French Hombourg and in the Polish Ujazd. You monitor and operate individual areas of the float glass plant and are supported by your team and are specifically incorporated into the various plant parts - furnace, float bath, cooling channel and blank. You monitor important process parameters such as temperature, pressure and glass levels via the process control system and thus ensure stable plant operation. You ensure the product quality by regularly checking the glass band visually, collecting relevant process data and documenting your results. You recognize process deviations, react together with your shift team and cooperate in troubleshooting. You ensure a smooth flow of material by moving glass frames professionally with the glass transporter. Note: The position does not include personnel responsibility. New colleagues are gradually incorporated into the plant. You do not have to dominate all areas by yourself from the very beginning. You have completed vocational training as machine and plant leaders, process engineers or technical/handicraft training. You are careful, like working in the team and are responsible. You have at least 3 years of relevant professional experience in a technical field. You are familiar with the current MS Office programs. You have good knowledge of German (C1 level), which enables smooth communication in the team and secure understanding of work instructions. You are ready to work in the 5-shift system (2 early, 2 late, 2 night, 4 days free).
