Our management team in the area of purchasing supports the processes and projects of our scientific staff. As part of this team, our departments advise you on purchasing services, capital goods and consumables. They carry out procurement in compliance with the applicable regulations and the procurement law, monitor contract status and intervene when necessary.

What you do with us

• Implementation and guarantee of regular procurement using public procurement law and the Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft guidelines
• Own implementation of national procurement procedures by the UVgO
• Advising our employees in all procurement matters
• Operational day-to-day business (order processing, tracking of deliveries, receipt of goods)
• Guided negotiations on prices and conditions, including with foreign suppliers

What you bring

• A completed study in the field of BWL, Purchasing or Logistics or a commercial training with appropriate practical experience
• You convince by your sovereign appearance and negotiation skills
• With popular MS Office applications you know how to handle
• Ideally experience with SAP S/4HANA and Ariba or comparable ERP systems
• Advantages are knowledge of procurement law (GWB, VgV, VOB, UVgO) or the willingness to work on and further qualify
• Good communication skills in German and English
• Creativity, initiative and team spirit - you like to introduce new impulses and actively participate
