Operation, maintenance and optimization of the Linux server landscapes and the underlying infrastructure Development and implementation of automation solutions for the efficient management of systems (e.g. with Ansible) Proactive monitoring of systems as well as analysis and troubleshooting to ensure availability and performance Implementation and monitoring of security-relevant standards (e.g. security hardware, firewalls) and ensuring compliance with corporate policies Creation and maintenance of technical documentation and regular reporting to the management level Participation in projects to expand and improve IT infrastructure as well as consulting internal and external stakeholders

Complete study of computer science or a comparable subject or completed IT-relevant training Professional practice in system administration with focus on Linux operating systems as well as sound knowledge in the administration and management of Linux environments (e.g. Ubuntu or Red Hat) Experience in managing virtualization environments (e.g. VMware, KVM) and container technologies (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes) Know-how in the field of network protocols and host firewalls as well as practical knowledge in one or more script languages (including Bash and/or Python) Responsibility, systematic and independent working style Team spirit and communication skills in German and English at least in B2 level
