Testing Equipment Engineer - Software & Automation (m/f/d)

Development, implementation and support of software-based testing and testing systems Creation, maintenance and further development of test software for functional, end-of-line and continuous running tests Connection and control of measuring instruments, sensors and actuators (e.g. via field buses, Ethernet or serial interfaces) Evaluation, analysis and visualization of measurement and test data Implementation of automated test sequences including fault detection and limit value monitoring Implementation and documentation of measurement system analyses (MSA) and statistical evaluations Maintenance of databases and interfaces to higher-level systems Support for fault analyses, deviation studies and continuous process improvements Close cooperation with development, quality assurance and production in the definition of test requirements

Completed studies in the field of computer science, electrical engineering, mechatronics or a comparable qualification Experience in software development for testing or automation systems Good knowledge of at least one programming language, such as Python, HP VEE or LabVIEW, C/C++, C# Experience in handling measurement and automation technology and industrial interfaces Knowledge of data analysis, ideally with statistical methods (e.g. MSA) Basic understanding of hardware, measurement technology and physical relationships Structured, analytical and independent working methods Very good German and good English skills
