About the company

Our customer is an established company in civil engineering and realizes projects in road, landfill, railway and civil engineering. In order to strengthen the team, the company is looking for a technical buyer, which reliably supports the construction sites in the procurement of materials and services and provides structured training for processes in purchasing.

procurement of building materials, equipment and bulk and piece goods for ongoing civil engineering projects Evaluation of tender documents and support for the calculation of demand Acquiring and comparing offers as well as leading practical price and supplier talks Ensure timely deliveries and coordination with construction sites for material quality Maintenance of the supplier network in the building material and civil engineering segment Overview of costs and quantities in the project Cooperation with costing, construction and project management in order assignment and audit

Completed technical or commercial training (e.g. building materials trade, construction engineering, industrial businessman) First experience in purchasing or in the construction site environment (e.g. material disposition, construction site, construction management, polishing, construction engineering) Communication strength and safe occurrence in supplier discussions Structured and reliable operation Technical understanding of construction services (materials, quantities, processes) Good MS-Office knowledge; Experience with ERP systems
