With over 1,300 employees, the Landratsamt Konstanz is one of the largest employers in the region. Our around 30 specialist offices offer a wide range of career prospects and the opportunity to shape the district of Konstanz in a sustainable manner. Our county forest office supports around 11,000 hectares of community forest and 4,100 hectares of private forest, with a high level of responsibility for 26,400 hectares of forest. The team consists of 14 district leaders (9 at the Landratsamt, 5 at municipalities) and 10 employees at the indoor service. We rely on a future-oriented forest management that takes into account climate change and strengthens nature conservation. Forest education, advice and service for forest owners are central components of our work.

We are looking for a dedicated forest expertise in the advanced technical forest service (w/m/d). The focus of your activity is on support in the field service, complemented by diverse tasks in the field of private forest care, controlling and environmental education.

Participation in the field service: They support the premiers (e.g. in the event of a high incidence of work and in the event of damage), represented by vacancies and staff bottlenecks, and are responsible for local and private forest management tasks. Controlling: Controlling procedures for operating control and natural accounting in the municipal forest. Private forest management: They independently take over the private forest consulting and project-related private forest care. This includes the maintenance of the newsletter, research funding and the implementation of private forest days. Environmental education: support for the regional leaders and the place of nature conservation and forest education in the care of school classes and kindergartens in the forest.

The career test for the advanced technical forestry service. Practical experience in a forest operation of advantage. Safe handling of MS Office, ideally experience with the specialist programs Focus2000. Team and communication skills, organizational capacity and an independent, service-oriented way of working. Driver's license and willingness to use your car for reimbursement. readiness for flexible working hours, even in evenings and weekends. Valid forest service (medical certificate).
