(Senior) Specialist Accounting – Kreditoren & Governance (m/f/d)

In this function, you play a central role in the further development and harmonisation of standardized, regulatory processes in the creditor and tax environment within the group of companies. You actively contribute to the definition, development and standardization of processes based on legal requirements and internal optimization initiatives in the creditor sector, and also accompany their rollouts in Germany and abroad. In addition, edit and evaluate change requests and work closely with the IT during test, release and implementation phases. You are responsible for the production and timely delivery of legal and administrative notifications, including the settlement of licensing fees according to the packaging regulations, notifications under the disposable plastic fund, notifications to the Deutsche Bundesbank and Intrastat notifications. In addition, you accept the creation, examination and timely submission of requests for reimbursement for foreign advance tax. Your tasks also include governance audits to ensure compliance with internal guidelines and external legal requirements, in particular in the area of creditors. The active participation in group-wide projects for the further development of processes and systems completes your task area.

You can have a degree in business management or a comparable commercial training with corresponding further training, and have already gained several years of experience in accounting, ideally in the creditor sector. You have good knowledge of the sales tax and intercompany environment, as well as experience with the definition, documentation and implementation of processes. Ideally, you are an experienced SAP user in the FI (in particular AP) modules as well as in adjacent processes, and can call yourself an IT-affine person. Their work is structured, independent and solution-oriented, and we will get to know you as a driving force behind change and optimization. In addition to excellent knowledge of German, you will bring good English skills and strong communication skills for different interfaces and levels.
