Technical Expert Databricks (m/f/d)

Designing the technical development of the Data Management & Analytics Platform as a Technical Expert Databricks and creating the basis for modern data, analytics, BI and AI applications in LBBW Development, automation and management of the Azure Databricks infrastructure with terraform, including setup and maintenance of the required networks to provide a scalable, secure, stable and easy to maintain platform Designing the integration of Microsoft Fabric and Power BI into the Data Management & Analytics Platform, in particular for reporting, self-service BI and analytics scenarios Implementation of best practices for CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps and extension of the platform to interfaces, technical components, features and 3rd party analytics tools Design of the Lakehouse architecture based on Delta Lake as well as advice from users in modeling robust bronze/silver/gold data structures and Data Pipelines (ETL/ELT) for reporting, analytics and AI/ML applications Close cooperation with Data Engineers, BI teams, Data Scientists and specialist areas for implementing technical requirements in efficient technical solutions Ensuring stable productive operation of the platform including monitoring, error analysis, automation and continuous improvement

Complete study of computer science, (economic) informatics, media informatics or a comparable subject Practical experience with databricks, in providing databricks as a platform, with proven expertise in this environment Multiannual experience in terraform development and working with Azure DevOps as well as sound knowledge in Unity Catalog and in permission management with Microsoft Entra ID Experience in the technical provision of Microsoft Fabric and Power BI, in particular in interaction with sheet-house/data warehouse architectures, authorization models, deployment processes and production-related reporting scenarios Very good conceptual and architectural skills as well as experience in implementing Data Lakehouse and Medallion architectures and with Delta Lake Experience in platform operation/SRE, especially in monitoring, incident and problem management Very good knowledge of Python, Spark/PySpark and SQL and well-founded experience in distributed computing on Databricks High implementation competence, strong team orientation and joy in joint design Very good knowledge of German in word and writing
