In your role, you are responsible for the strategic development of license management, especially in connection with public cloud. With your know-how about license and vendor management, you will accompany and advise as a central contact person in IT procurement processes, including contract design and negotiation. You also secure and manage the company-wide software license compliance as well as its cost-optimized use, as well as enter internal and external audits. We rely on your analytical skills when it comes to reporting on the status of license and asset management. Last but not least, you continuously opt for these processes with particular attention to the further development and increase of the degree of automation.

A successfully completed IT degree or comparable training. Proofable professional experience in software contract, license and copyright as well as certifications in the field of software asset management. You bring profound practical experience in the processes of license management including working with a software asset management (SAM) tool, preferably Matrix42. Experience in Metering and Classification as well as in license models of major manufacturers (Microsoft, IBM, SAP) is absolutely necessary. You are very familiar with quality and compliance management. English language and writing are a plus.
