Systems Engineering Manager (m/f/d)

Own-sponsored technical management of national overall system projects and supply activities in the field of system extensions in the SAR context within a military environment Development and definition of basic system concepts and top-level architectures for system extensions Professional leadership and targeted management and coordination of a team of Systems Engineers in their respective project tasks Creating sound cost, timing and performance forecasts based on system design Ensuring consistent alignment of all technical activities and work results within the team Planning, organisation and moderation of regular technical project checkpoints for progress monitoring Responsibility for system engineering shares in Contract Change Notes (CCNs) Ensuring continuous and transparent technical information exchange within the project team and with specialist departments and external partners Promoting and ensuring efficient, cross-sectoral cooperation

Successfully completed master's degree in engineering or a comparable discipline, preferably in aerospace technology or systems engineering Found experience in the systems engineering of complex overall systems, ideally in the fields of space, IT and SAR Detectable expertise in the development of system architectures and in the top-level system design Experience in the professional leadership and coordination of interdisciplinary teams Embossed system understanding and the ability and willingness to work quickly into new and complex topics Experience in planning and managing costs, appointments and resources Safe handling of requirements engineering methods, including verification and validation Practical experience in change and configuration management, for example in handling CCNs Impressive communication strength combined with a high degree of self-initiative and commitment High level of self-responsibility and strong decision-making and enforcement Strong team capacity and ability to work effectively in cross-departmental structures Very good knowledge of German in word and writing are mandatory
