Regional Officer for Municipal Relations & Public Affairs - Region North/Central/South (m/f/d)

You implement the corporate and sector goals in your region and strategically develop the segment strategy for local customers. You work closely with the relevant specialist areas within the Westfalen Weser Group and talk about our local partners in a consistent and coordinated manner. You build and plead resilient relationships with local decision-makers, municipal works, network companies and other relevant actors. You enter the municipal customer circle holistically, secure concessions and systematically develop business relationships. You follow political, regulatory and municipal developments, prepare them structuredly and introduce relevant assessments and impulses into internal voting and decision-making processes. You take responsibility for the sales achievement in your region and actively participate in the development of tailor-made offers. You enter our customers and sell relevant products and services to local partners. You actively shape regional networks, dialogue formats and events and act as a central contact person in municipal stakeholder and relationship management. You carry out mandates in municipal holdings, work in supervisory bodies or corporate meetings and strategically engage you.

You have a master's degree in the field of economic engineering, business management, law, energy management or have a comparable qualification. You bring several years of experience in a drive-intensive or communication-intensive role – ideally in the energy industry or in the municipal environment. Alternatively, you have well-founded experience from administration, politics, association work or a comparable institutional environment and want to contribute to a strategic corporate role. You are characterized by very high customer orientation, pronounced communication strength and a safe and binding appearance on all levels. You think strategically, have a sense of political touch and have the pleasure of making relationships active. Participation in evening and weekend events as part of municipal events and committee work is of course for you.
