Designing processes – shaping production site! Our client is an internationally active chemical company based in Germany and develops and produces chemical raw materials for industrial B2B applications. The products are used in the fields of hygiene, agriculture and technology. With several production and research sites in Europe and North America and a clear focus on sustainable solutions, the company is one of the most established providers in its market segment. For the location in the Ruhr region we are looking for a convincing leadership personality as Production line/location line

In this key position, you take over the management of a production site with around 120 employees (five direct reports). A pre-product is produced which is used as an essential basis for various applications of B2B customers from the chemical industry and adjacent industrial sectors. You are responsible for the safe, economical and law-compliant operation with complex process equipment on a petro-chemical scale. Together with your management team, you will ensure stable and quality production in full-conti (24/7). Strategic projects to increase efficiency, process improvement and site development are implemented consistently. You report directly to the management and operate professionally with international interfaces as part of global structures.

Based on a completed study of chemistry (ideally with doctoral studies) or chemical engineering, you have several years of leadership experience in the process industry. You bring expertise in the operation of continuous plants, lean and six-sigma methods (ideally Black Belt) as well as in the management of multi-site teams. As a compelling and powerful guide person with clear expectations and hands-on mentality, you can communicate clearly and convey a motivating vision.
