Buyer Logistics & Automotive – Essen (m/f/d)

Responsibility for purchasing: You take over the independent control and processing of the operational and strategic purchasing of services and products in the logistics environment and automotive sector. Supplier management: You identify, qualify and maintain suppliers, negotiate contracts and ensure optimal conditions. Demand analysis: You agree closely with specialist departments, check requirements and derive procurement measures. Cost optimization: You analyse market trends, optimize processes and introduce innovative ideas to improve the purchasing and supplier strategy. Project work: You are actively involved in shopping projects and cross-site initiatives. Documentation & Reporting: You document purchasing processes transparently and regularly report to the management level.

Complete studies in the field of business management, logistics, supply chain management or a comparable qualification. Multiannual professional experience required in purchasing, preferably in the area of logistics or automotive. Negotiating skills and a safe occurrence in dealing with partners and suppliers. Safe handling of MS Office and ideally knowledge of ERP systems. Analytical thinking and an independent, structured way of working. Communication strength and team capacity – you like to work with different interfaces. Very good English skills.
