At the health campus site, two permanent administrative posts in full-time (39.83 hours per week) are available as

IT administrator*in (w/m/d) (EG 11 TV-L)

to support the IT systems and support the benefits of two departments.

The bodies are assigned to the fields of health sciences and “care, midwife and therapy sciences”. Employment in parttime is possible in principle. The grouping takes place in the presence of the corresponding personal conditions up to the payment group 11 TV-L.

As a result of the merger of the Bochum University of Applied Sciences and Humanities with the former University of Applied Sciences, the IT environment of the two new departments is restructured for decentralized care. We are looking for you to implement this new support structure and to operate and support IT systems in both areas. Support for application procedures and implementation of projects First contact person for all IT and media technology issues (first-level support) Management of terminals (or IT hardware) used in the field Building, dismantling and rebuilding jobs Coordination of licences used in research and teaching Support of the DV rooms Support of server services operated in the field

Completed university degree (Bachelor) from the fields of computer science, technology or business, or a comparable degree in comparable courses Experience in the administration and support of IT systems

The following knowledge is desirable: Found experience in handling server and client operating systems (Windows, Linux, macOS, Android) Good knowledge of the planning, operation and development of network infrastructures (LAN, WLAN, VPN) Practice in the administration of Windows domain environments (Active Directory) Understanding systems and applications of media technology and their integration in IT infrastructures Ability to work quickly and independently in complex technical contexts Interest in working in the specific structures and processes of a university Impressed communication strength and team capacity in the interdisciplinary environment
