In the supercell cluster “Imaginamics: Practices and Dynamics of Social Imagination” is at the next possible time a place as Controller:in for financial management in full-time (100%, 40 hours per week) to be settled, first up to 31.12.2032. The Cluster of Excellence “Imaginamics” is a third-party funded and cross-faculty research association at the Friedrich-Schiller-Universität Jena, which deals with the phenomenon of social imagination from an interdisciplinary perspective (further information at https://www.uni-jena.de/imaginamics). In close cooperation with the researchers involved in the cluster:inside, the spokesperson:internal and coordination team as well as other bodies involved, you contribute to the successful success and smooth running of the overall project in the central office of the cluster.

You are responsible for the financial controlling of the Cluster of Excellence and are contact persons:in all budgetary matters of the cluster. This means, among others: You plan and monitor third-party and budgetary resources for the cluster and the same budget expenditure with the approval rules and respective usage guidelines. You independently continue the financial planning of the cluster and organize and maintain the interfaces in the units of the cluster as well as in the university administration. You build a controlling system that encompasses the entire cluster. You support the spokesperson team and management in matters of strategic planning and development. You are responsible for financial management and are responsible for the process optimization of the cluster. This means, among other things, that you develop and implement a comprehensive approach to implementing the budget. You are responsible for the systematic analysis, design and development of management processes of the cluster, in cooperation with the management.

You have a successfully completed relevant university degree in a discipline or discipline suitable for performing the tasks. on equivalent thorough and comprehensive expertise due to appropriate professional experience and/or training. You have acquired deeper knowledge in the household, finance and accounting of the public sector in their studies or in their previous professional stations. You bring SAP knowledge in terms of controlling, project system, procurement as well as knowledge in third-party funding law and in third-party funding management. You have analytical skills and structured thinking, and You can communicate friendly, transparent and facing. Ideally, you will also bring knowledge in project and process management (including the relevant software). Experiences in creating complex reports and presentations are advantageous.

We offer you a remuneration according to the provisions of the collective agreement for the public service of the countries (TV-L) according to the personal conditions up to the remuneration group E 11 including a special tariff payment.
