Your tasks

• You support the future-oriented strategic development of the msg.Insurance Suite, our complete solution for a fully digitized insurance operation
• In your role as Information Security specialist (m/w/d), you actively contribute to the further development of the security architecture; Objective is to provide the msg.Insurance Suite as SaaS solution
• You are the first IT security concepts and guidelines, and you agree with your colleagues from IT and software development and support the implementation in product development and customer projects
• You secure security monitoring and reporting and accompany the execution of security audits and penetration tests
• You actively participate in acquisitions, pre-studies and proof of concepts, present and represent your topics across the company and carry out customer workshops and training

Your qualification

• Successfully completed studies in computer science, mathematics or a comparable qualification
• Experience and fun at (agiler) software development and architectural consulting with focus on IT Security
• Funded know-how for securing and curing productive environments and on-going services
• Knowledge of safety-relevant methods and standards such as ISO27000 ff., BSI
• Good Java/JEE knowledge and knowledge of relevant open source frameworks and tools
• Ideally additional know-how in the area of cloud security or Security in virtualized environments
• Analytical-methodic and Structured Thinking, Creativity, Organisational and Team Skill, Result and Solution Orientation

Software development

• We accompany your start with a multi-day onboarding program in the first year. In addition, a contact person from the department is available for all your questions during your time of incorporation.
• You have the pleasure of new technologies, but you are not already an expert (all genders) in every subject area – we invest in our employees and continuously expand your technical priorities and interests together with you. Apply yourself, even if you don't already master all the technologies mentioned.
• With our flexible working time model and individual solutions, we also support the work-life balance of our employees, so we offer this position both in full time and in part time (ab 75%). In your application, please let us know what extent you want to start with us. In addition, we enable mobile work, so that we can work both at our locations and remotely (about 50% home office).
