As a specialist classification and classification in foreign trade (m/w/d), you are involved in creating and maintaining process and user documentation, work instructions, guidelines. You prepare customs and external economic audits, obtain official notifications and take over the quality control and plausibility check of the transferred documents. The coordination with customers, traders and producers on classification topics is also part of your task. Your tasks: Tariffing and classification of goods in accordance with applicable customs and foreign legislation (DE/EU/US) Legally compliant settlement of all customs and external processes in the company and close cooperation with internal departments Monitoring of export control-relevant legislation on topicality and, where appropriate, Implementation of amended specifications Technical advice on classification projects on the complete product lifecycle and support for substitution goods Coordination of project tasks with complex assemblies Analysis of technical product characteristics (composition, function, use)

Completed university education and/or multi-year professional experience (electrotech/machine engineering or comparable) Multiannual experience related to material classification regarding ITAR/EAR, AWG/KWKG, WaffG and EG-Dual-Use-VO Customs Tariff Experience (import/export) Very good technical understanding and with MS Office and SAP knowledge or comparable ERP systems Very good English in word and writing Team, communication and conflict skills as well as intercultural competence Global readiness
