Embedded Systems Developer (m/d) Company: Aesculap AG Job location: DE-Tuttlingen (Aesc.Platz) Functional area: Research and development Working model: Hybrid Requirement number: 4713 For the Aesculap division at the Tuttlingen site, we are looking for two embedded systems developers (w/m/d) for our active medical devices in the Electronics Hardware team.

Development of active medical devices for the B. Braun Aesculap device portfolio Responsibility of electronics hardware and embedded software in cross-functional new development projects Requirements analysis and design of system concepts and system architectures with focus on electronics and software components System designs (electronics + software) from the Proof of Concept to prototypes to series maturity Care and maintenance of existing products (changes, fault analyses, EOL management) Accompanying approval testing and documentation in regulated medical technology environment Close cooperation with the software and electromechanics teams as well as external partners and suppliers

They have a degree in electronics, electrical engineering, medical technology, technical computer science, mechatronics or a comparable qualification Long-standing professional experience (min. 3 years) in hardware and software development, for analogue and digital circuits as well as embedded systems (including Arm Cortex M0+, M4, M7) Knowledge of interfaces and protocols such as SPI, I2C, UART, etc., JTAG, SWD and Ethernet, additional knowledge of WIFI, Bluetooth 5.x and NFC desirable Experience in PCB routing with Altium or Siemens PADS Insufficient standards (IEC60601-1; IEC62304; etc.), EMC conformity, as well as experience and handling of measurement technology, especially in the regulated medical technology environment (V-Model) Knowledge in Linux and real-time operating systems Experience in cooperation and management of external development partners and suppliers Analytical thinking and willingness to take ownership Professional English skills in word and writing Personal competencies: You accept topics, even beyond your own tasks They trust others and meet them with respect and appreciation You are a team player with a structured and pragmatic approach They go the extra mile and support their team members for the best common result
