IT Service Manager / Project Manager System Operations – Energy Industry (m/f/d)

In this key role, you take over the overall responsibility for the organization, coordination and quality assurance of the operational operation of a diverse special IT service portfolio (including energy market applications, electricity-thought app). You are responsible for the entire life cycle of IT services – from commissioning to ongoing operation to continuous development of systems and infrastructure. With a holistic view, you control sophisticated IT developments by modern IT project management methods and orchestrate internal stakeholders as well as external service providers, such as software providers. You plan and control operational aspects including appointment, budget and resource management, design contracts in cooperation with relevant specialist areas and ensure compliance with agreed service levels. Finally, organize internal performance with administrators, architects and other stakeholders, establish ITIL-compliant operating processes and ensure compliance with compliance and IT security requirements – in particular ISO 27001 – in close coordination with specialist departments and service team.

You have a degree in economic informatics, computer science or business administration with IT focus or a comparable training with professional experience (e.g. as an IT businessman/wife). In addition, you bring several years of professional experience in IT Service Management in the KRITIS environment, have well-founded ITIL knowledge (ideally ITIL 4) and extensive practice in the administration and administration of IT systems and associated technologies, like in the energy industry. You work independently, solution-oriented and analytically, are characterized by a team-oriented working with hands-on mentality and always keep in mind the needs of stakeholders. Thanks to your high level of willingness to learn, you are working independently and quickly on new topics and highly specific, individually developed IT systems and are open to new challenges. You communicate confidently, master the German and English language in word and writing and are fit in tools such as MS Office, SAP and Power BI. .
