For our SOS Children's Village Sachsen we are looking for a psychologist (m/w/d) for the pedagogical specialist service at the Children's Village Center Leipzig in part-time (20 h/w) Your area of responsibility: In our educational-therapeutically oriented sibling group in the children's village centre in Leipzig, you play a central professional role as a psychological specialist service. They support up to eight children and adolescents from the age of three in challenging situations of life and with complex needs of help and support the pedagogical team. Their use is done without group service and without interlayer work and allows you to concentrate, continuous psychological work in close cooperation with the team. They carry out appropriate procedures with children and adolescents to cope with past and biographical burdens and to promote holistic development. They offer individual case and group work. They involve important reference persons and the system of origin of young people and, if necessary, accompany contacts and transitions. They support the successful implementation of the funding and therapy plans of young people. They ensure professional contact and exchange with treating physicians, therapists and clinics and, if necessary, provide further therapeutic measures. They advise our educational professionals in the housing groups and help create a trauma-sensitive, sustainable environment. They introduce the multi-professional perspective on young people in case-consultations and team meetings. They support crisis management and always act in the sense of protection of children and responsibilities. Your qualification and competences: You have a completed academic degree (Master/Diplom) in the field of "Clinical Psychology". Continuing training in the field of therapy in childhood and youth age, trauma education or systemic therapy are advantageous. Ideally, you have professional experience in working with traumatized children and young people affected by violence. They bring an appreciation and resource-oriented view of the whole family and stand for a professional approach to proximity and distance. They take responsibility and keep an overview in challenging situations. They bring the willingness to work mainly in the afternoon/early evening (after school visit).
