For our company we are looking at the next possible date in the framework of a parental-time representation (to 31.12.2026) Engineer / Technical Service / Application Engineer (m/w/d)

Processing product requests (implementation of functional tests and feasibility studies taking into account quality requirements) Selection and appointment of work plans (production processes, materials, test specifications) Conducting product analyses (under functional, economic and qualitative aspects) Implement and evaluate initial and sample orders Cooperation with the production departments with regard to product-related, technical development and the associated coordination of production regulations Creating technical delivery specifications Advise and maintain domestic and foreign customers (sic production of compliance with quality standards, processing of first samples, processing of complaints as well as carrying out quality meetings (also locally with the customer)) Takeover of special tasks and projects

Several years (3-5 years) relevant professional experience in technical customer service or in process engineering in the field of aluminium production (rolling and film) or in adjacent areas such as the paper or packaging industry Higher education degree (Diplom, Master or Bachelor) in technical or scientific engineering (engineering, application technology or chemical engineer) or comparable professional competence. Training in metallurgy is a plus Good statistics and quality management skills Ability to Analytical Thinking and Enforcement Experience in handling customers High customer orientation, strong communication skills and above-average engagement Proactive, communicative, independent and team-oriented work flowing German and English knowledge in word and writing, French knowledge is advantageous Secure handling of current MS Office applications and knowledge of SAP R/3 are required Travel readiness (customers primarily in Europe)
