We in our department want to actively shape this change at Mercedes-Benz and be part of the solution. We are responsible for the environmental and energy policy of the Mercedes-Benz Group and are, in relation to the environmental impact of products and processes, contributors to the sustainable business strategy. Your main task is to secure consistent, production-related environmental data at Group level. This includes, among other things, support in the data-technical coordination of the corresponding global data reporting of the production plants and other business units of the Group, the identification of the key figures and cooperation in the fulfilment of data reporting obligations of Mercedes-Benz AG to authorities, associations, rating agencies and NGOs. These challenges come to you: Working with the data management of the environmental data of the worldwide production sites of Mercedes-Benz AG Detection of environmental indicators and environmental parameters of production sites Assessment of the environmental parameters of the sites with regard to data integrity and quality Participation in the creation of data standards clarification of environmental data issues with locations worldwide Participation in the establishment of global data audits, preparation and investigation and communication Implementation of new requirements of EU standards and laws for the Sustainability Report

Natural or technical studies with a focus on environmental protection, environmental engineering, sustainability or a comparable course of study with an environmental focus, like with a deepening in the IT field Safe knowledge of German and English in word and writing, further knowledge of foreign languages desirable Safe handling of current MS Office applications Communication and team skills Analytical way of thinking, rapid understanding and conceptual skills Commitment and reliability as well as independent working Knowledge of the topic Environment and Sustainability Please note that your internship at this site must have a prescribed mandatory share.
