Industry Manager Defense & Security / Business Development (m/f/d)

Your mission At MURTFELDT, you are developing a strategically relevant business field. You combine market opportunities with technological solutions, coordinate internal competencies and build strong customer relationships. Your tasks You are developing the Defense / Security / Wehrtechnik business area strategically. You identify new market potentials, customers and applications. You win new customers and develop existing partnerships. You develop networks to OEMs, system houses, Tier 1 suppliers and relevant decision-makers. You develop sales and market entry strategies. You analyse alerts, market trends and procurement programs. You control complex sales projects until successful completion. You coordinate technological solutions across our manufacturing areas – in particular CNC cutting, additive manufacturing and fiber composite technology. You work closely with indoor and outdoor services, application technology, business units and the management. You represent MURTFELDT at trade fairs, congresses and industry events

That's what you bring Multiannual experience in Business Development, Sales or Key Account Management. Ideally experience in Defense, Aerospace & Defense, Wehrtechnik or Security. Technical understanding of products and components in need of explanation. An existing network in the industry is a plus. Commercial skill combined with strategic thinking. Impressed communication strength and joy in cross-departmental cooperation. Team orientation and sovereign appearance at decision-making level. German and English skills. readiness to travel within Germany and Europe.
