Because the social counts – committed, competent and networked for our patients: inside.

As a social service in the UKE, we advise, accompany and support the patient: both inside and their relatives in biopsychosocial problems. We therefore make an important contribution to their disease management and social participation. Together with the treatment team, we coordinate, organize and provide help as part of the discharge management. But also non-case-related activities such as networking tasks, concept development and participation in research projects shape our work in the UKE.

Your tasks:

• Individual (psycho-) social and social counselling of patients: female and female
• Development of solution strategies with patients: women for sustainable connection
• Coordination, organisation and mediation of aids in the context of dismissal management
• Ensuring social rights and providing complementary support in the extraclinical field
• Introduction of legal assistance and pensioners
• Systematic documentation and performance detection
• cooperation and participation in the multi-professional treatment team as well as in cross-disciplinary group work
• Network work with internal and external suppliers

This position shall be fixed in full or part-time from 01.09.2026.

• Complete university studies in social work/social pedagogy or social work (Diplom/B.A./M.A.) with state recognition
• Application-proof knowledge and skills in health-related social work, ideally multiannual experience in hospital social work
• Funded knowledge in social legislation and in adjacent legal areas, in case management, in client-centric discussion, as well as MS Office knowledge and knowledge of government structures
• Embossed communication and organizational skills, targeted and responsible work, team and conflict ability, sensitivity and reflection, service orientation

Immunity status

An adjustment is only possible if, according to the applicable (legal and medical) requirements against the measles virus, a complete immunization or Immunity evidence is available. This must be demonstrated by appropriate documents (e.g. vaccination card) before the start of employment.

• Fair and transparent remuneration according to our collective agreement TVöD/VKA (53.800 € - 73.000 €) taking into account qualifications and professional experience. The salary is a full-time job with 38.5 hours per week. The amounts mentioned are indicative and do not constitute a remuneration promise.
