Product Development Manager in Düsseldorf (m/f/d)

For our team in Düsseldorf we are currently looking for reinforcement in Product Development Management as Product Development Manager (m/w/d) in full time for our office in Düsseldorf. The role includes the holistic control of selected development projects – from the first idea to the formulation to the final product and the successful market launch. The areas of responsibility extend across different categories such as skincare and skin-friendly lifestyle products and offer the opportunity to actively participate in the further development of our international premium brand.

The position is part of a small, cross-functional team with plenty of design space and close cooperation with numerous business areas. Strong project management skills, a solution-oriented attitude and a structured working style are particularly valuable.

You are responsible for selected product development projects from the concept to the final product and its marketing. You manage and control development projects for innovative cosmetic products in the area of luxury skin care. You act as an interface between all project-related departments (purchasing, marketing, regulatory affairs, quality and sales) to ensure that important milestones for a seamless and successful product start are achieved. You create project plans and plan, perform and monitor all project-related activities. You are a technical expert for your projects and support customer service and internal training. You create product content concepts, product descriptions and presentations. You communicate effectively and consistently in writing and oral with partners and colleagues. If necessary, you support the development team in additional tasks in the daily business.

You are highly motivated, creative and responsible and can work in a dynamic and challenging environment. You have a corresponding degree/training, or relevant professional experience in cosmetic product or project management, ideally in the area of luxury skin care. You are detailed, problem-solving-oriented, resourceful and able to jonglate several projects simultaneously. You show your own initiative to achieve results.
