In our Group Research & Development (RD), we shape the mobility of tomorrow. New distributed drive concepts lead to the need for central control units that ensure the perfect interaction of all these elements. Our team of E/E platform technologies in the Drive-Systems software base layer area is responsible for the development of the software platform for the central Powertrain control unit – the heart of every new Mercedes-Benz vehicle. Our tasks range from the development of software architecture to the implementation and integration of the final overall software. The development and implementation of performant and reliable tools and automation mechanisms are important components of this task chain. Now you're in demand! The following tasks await you: Active participation in software development, based on the AUTOSAR standard

Independent development/development of tools and scripts in the programming languages Java and Powershell

Review and optimization of existing scripts

Development and optimization of automation mechanisms/pipelines in GitlabCI

Current studies in the field of electrical engineering, computer science or a comparable technical course Interest in the automotive industry and the development of software solutions in the automotive sector Good knowledge of the programming language Java and possibly Powershell Experience in handling and processing XML files Previous knowledge of the AUTOSAR standard desirable, but not absolutely necessary Safe handling of Git Self-led, initiative and creative work with team spirit and a high level of learning German and English knowledge in word and writing Additional information: We are looking forward to your online application with CV, lettering, certificates, current enrollment certificate, giving the semester and proof of the regular study period.
