to occupy. There are seven and eight children living in a group with different educational support and therapy requirements. The age of admission is 6 to 12 years old and there are currently children aged 5 to 16 in groups.

The children's and youth educational institution of the city of Cologne (KI d S) is an overarching educational institution with around 380 employees. Around 1,100 children, young people and adults aged from 0 to 21 years of age are cared for each year in housing, inobservation and day care groups and outpatient assistance.

At the KidS booth at the Brück site, the existing offer was conceptually and restructured as part of a large project. Modern spatial framework conditions as well as a newly oriented educational-therapeutic concept provide the opportunity to accompany and support the children holistic and multi-professional.

You...

• take over the educational support and promotion of children with multidimensional loads and psychosocial vulnerabilities within the framework of the shiftwork (which also includes night-readiness services).
• work according to trauma pedagogical and binding and systemic standards and ensure continuous transfer of approaches in everyday life.
• work on the basis of the pedagogical-therapeutic conception of the housing group and are actively involved in their further development.
• cooperate with other pedagogical and therapeutic professionals and participate in regular interdisciplinary case conferences.
• support, accompany and promote children in everyday educational life and work on an effective educational plan.
• ensure cooperation with other institutions (jugend offices, schools, doctors, therapists, children's and youth psychiatry, et cetera).
• are responsible for the technical documentation and perform general administrative tasks.

Your profile that suits us

They have a degree as a state-recognized educatorin or state-recognizedin.

We would like to point out that since 01.03.2020 the regulations of the Masernimpfschutzgesetz have been in force for this purpose.

• have the capacity to intervene in crisis and to document the differentiated and resource-oriented case.
• bring the willingness to work according to trauma and binding and systemic standards and to identify with the appropriate attitude.
• show the willingness to shift and standby.
• are prepared for supervision, training and collegial advice.
• have a high degree of loyalty, integrity, sensitivity, individual loadability and self-reflection.
• have gender competence and diversity conviction.
• possess digital competence.

The weekly working hours are 39 hours per week. Employment is possible in part-time and full-time. The setting is terminated.

A job is to be occupied as a representation agency until 31.01.2027, the weekly working hours being 29.25 hours per week.
