You are responsible for the management of a growing team, which is responsible for central topics such as heat planning, the expansion of near and district heating networks, the energy standards of public buildings, as well as the development and implementation of support programmes for the decarbonization of heat supply and energy building renovation.

Strategic development and technical control of the unit “Wärmewende”, incl. Resource planning and control. Principles of heat transition (including heat planning and near/earner heat supply) and strategic development of measures to implement and support the heat transition (including support programmes and energy standards of public buildings). Responsibility for the creation and quality assurance of forum templates, reports, opinions and draft decisions.

You will have a completed university degree (Master or Diploma University) in the field of economic, administrative, political, natural or engineering, urban planning/spatial planning or a management degree course or a comparable qualification that will enable you to conduct the “Wärmewende” Unit. You can also apply if you are an official (w/m/d) and have a career qualification for the category 2, second entry office, with one of the above-mentioned degrees. You have multi-annual, relevant leadership experience, ideally in public administration or comparable organisations or Company related to the designated entity.
