About our customers: Our client is an innovative company in the field of defence electronics, which develops state-of-the-art technological solutions. For the position as a software developer (m/w/d), we are looking for a dedicated specialist who drives complex software projects with passion.

Your tasks:

• Development, testing and analysis of software components based on defined architectural specifications in close coordination with experienced developers
• Conception and implementation of modular, scalable data fusion frameworks for the processing and synchronization of heterogeneous sensor and data sources
• Working with real-time, distributed system architectures and integration of software subsystems in the target system
• Own-responsible cooperation in agile project teams as well as contact persons for junior developers
• Creation and maintenance of technical documentation of responsible software components

Your qualification:

• Complete study of computer science or a comparable qualification as well as several years of professional experience in software development
• Funded knowledge in C/C++ and Python as well as very good knowledge in object-oriented programming and software design
• Proven experience with data fusion methods (e.g. Kalman filter, probabilistic data fusion, synchronization) as well as multi-threading and low-latency systems
• knowledge of DDS-based communication and ideally experience with tools like JIRA, Confluence, Bitbucket or GIT
• Very good English skills in word and writing as well as willingness to travel worldwide and move to Bremen
