The tasks include: the Office for Construction, Landscape and Planning, the Office for Cataster and Geoinformation, the Office for the Environment, the Office for Digital Infrastructure and Transportation, the waste operation circle Viersen and Transport company Kreis Viersen

Around 230 employees are currently employed in the department. A reorganisation of the tasks is reserved.

Qualification for the category 2, second entry office of the technical administration service and completed large state examination, degree course: civil engineering, urban construction, architecture, spatial planning or comparable scientific and technical discipline; or Competence to the Judge Office multiannual professional and management experience in public administration, preferably in a municipal administration Creativity, eagerness to decision and enforcement in order to secure and further develop the performance of the county administration Innovation joy and digital affinity strong negotiating competence and high operational readiness sovereign appearance, convincing communication skills and diplomatic skills Experience in dealing with representatives from politics and media
