Your role You support the development of human-machine interface (HMI) solutions for Mercedes-Benz charging systems, focusing on charging products for the North American market (NAFTA). In close cooperation with product managers, engineers and international stakeholders, you help translate customer needs and technical requirements into intuitive and appealing digital experiences. Your duties Design of UX/UI solutions for global charging products focusing on the NAFTA region

Creation of user journeys, interaction concepts, screen flows, Wireframes, prototypes and visual designs

Designing experiences in the areas of charging, payment, connectivity and digital services

Support for implementation and validation activities for loading hardware and software platforms

Cooperation with development teams and external partners

Analysis and optimization of technical requirements, workflows and system interactions

Support for usability tests, prototype evaluations and feedback talks

Application of data-based working methods by understanding how customer feedback, usability knowledge, behavioral data and system performance indicators support product decisions

Organization and moderation of workshops that bring together product management, UX, technology and external partners to develop customer-oriented charging experiences together

Research into the integration of loading experiences into future software-defined vehicle ecosystems using intelligent interfaces, networked services, digital assistants and data-based user journeys

Continuous extension to UX, front-end development, HMI technologies, AI-based workflows and emerging trends of digital mobility

The activity may begin from 1 October 2026.

Studies in the field of Interaction Design, UX/UI-Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, Media Informatics, Software Engineering, Engineering or a comparable subject area

Great interest in designing and developing customer-oriented digital products

Understanding the principles of user-centric design and methods of usability.

Experience with Figma or comparable UX/UI tools is required

Knowledge of frontend technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React or comparable frameworks) are advantageous

Interest in electric mobility, charging systems, connected services and software-defined vehicles
