Technicians / Master (w/m/d) for plant operation and disposal Reference number: GF 2026/5 The Helmholtz-Zentrum Berlin operates the central station for radioactive waste (ZRA) at the Wannsee site on behalf of the Land of Berlin. Here we collect, store and condition radioactive waste from research, industry and medicine, making an important contribution to the protection of humans and the environment. We operate both industrial plants and specialised facilities for the treatment and conditioning of radioactive waste.

You carry out maintenance on our technical systems, treat them in daily operation and eliminate disturbances. You are helpful in the production of transport and accompanying papers and carry out the collection of waste with our customers as one of our dangerous goods drivers. You plan conditioning measures and accompany them with the corresponding documentation. You take the handling of waste bins with hall cranes and industrial trucks. You are responsible for storing the waste bins.
