(Senior) Settlement Clerk - Securities Processing (m/f/d)

In our team of 18 dedicated colleagues, everything is about the settlement for national and private banks in the wholesale sector – from the final note to Tri Party Repos and Collateral Management. Each of us maintains firm customer groups and ensures that all processing processes run smoothly and on time. Our team also grows with the expansion of our business and new customers, which we will support in the future. Become part of the team and enter into the operational rules with the following tasks: Business delivery: You accompany the settlement of stock exchange, OTC, repo and loan transactions via national and international trading platforms, thereby ensuring a smooth process from business delivery through instruction generation to final ownership transfer. Error analysis: In the Exception Handling, you manually analyze and process those business cases that cannot be processed automatically. You can identify vulnerabilities, explain causes in exchange with internal specialists and external interfaces, and also meet the correct measures for troubleshooting under time pressure – for example in case of deviations in the matching process. Delivery disposition: You actively monitor the supplyable stock in the securities sales and if automatic delivery releases are not possible, such as technical restrictions or time-critical orders. You take responsibility for a timely and error-free execution. Data management: You provide and update data in internal systems to correctly map market changes and take into account the relationships and effects of adjustments e.g. in control tables for delivery times. Supporting tests: If you are interested, you can get yourself into regression tests beyond the daily business. You can check new or adapted functions in the system and ensure that changes work reliably in the operational process. This place is to be occupied in parttime (50%).

You have a successfully completed commercial training, ideally in the financial environment, or bring a similar qualification. You have already gained experience in the financial market environment and know the basic processes of securities processing. Especially when dealing with risky and time-critical processing processes, you can contribute your expertise. You bring good knowledge of the common warehouse systems, especially Xact, and are safe in working with Excel. If you have already worked with SWIFT, this is an advantage for incorporation, but no need. Whether oral or written – you speak fluent German (C1) and bring basic English skills (B1). You are going to change openly and curiously, and you want to work on new topics such as market changes or regulatory innovations. You can also work quietly and structured in stressful phases with high time pressure, keep an overview and contribute to maintaining the service times together.
