As a system engineer for (semi-) autonomous underwater vehicles (m/w/d), you are responsible for the design of complex system concepts and architectures of underwater vehicles. Your focus is on simulating the behaviour of underwater vehicles. Your activity includes modeling the system elements and defining the system concepts for the project based on the results of your simulation. Please note the requirements of the standards to be taken into account in the technical solution for the system elements. You are responsible for the implementation of customer requirements regarding System Safety, System Security and Usability in design, as well as the preparation of the necessary analyses with the support of relevant specialist departments in the company. In the product and project team, you coordinate your tasks, problems and obstacles in the task management. You plan, tax and implement the necessary specialist activities in customer projects and offers.

You have a degree in mathematics, physics or a comparable degree programme. You have been able to gain many years of experience and extensive expertise in the field of simulation of behavior of vehicles and bring a good understanding in the software field. Innovation ability, technical evaluation and competence to work quickly into complex issues are a key feature. You work independently and result-oriented and have a strong communication capability. You have consensus and enforcement capabilities across internal and external stakeholders. Very good knowledge of German and English in word and writing complete your profile.
