Technical Editor (m/w/d)

Anschütz GmbH is a leading manufacturer and integrator of navigation, bridge and mission systems for commercial shipping including offshore and research ships as well as mega yachts and for coastal guard and naval ships as well as submarines.

Creation and maintenance of technical documentation: Use the editorial system to create interactive electronic technical documentation and printable manuals for products and systems of civil and military shipping according to certain guidelines. Cooperation with development teams: You work closely with the development teams from the various business areas at Anschütz to collect and verify technical information so that the documentation is accurate and up-to-date. Verification and updating of documentation: You regularly review existing documentation and update it if necessary to ensure that it meets current standards and requirements. Graphics and Illustrations: You create graphics and illustrations according to specifications and standards for manuals and spare parts catalogs.

You have a technical training with further training to the technical editor or a comparable qualification. Ideally, you bring knowledge of relevant standards and regulations (e.g. DIN EN 82079, ASD S1000D, ASD S2000M). You have a technical understanding of complex products and systems. You have first experiences in dealing with databases, e.g. content management systems. You have fluent English and German skills in word and writing, including grammar and Orthography.
