Technician/Engineer as Electrical Designer in Special Purpose Machinery (m/f/d)

You develop electrotechnical concepts for high-precision microassembly and testing systems in the field of photonics and thus provide the basis for innovative and reliable automation solutions. With EPLAN Electric P8 you create and edit current and circuit diagrams for customised special machines and ensure a continuous and comprehensible electrical design. You select suitable electrical components and dimension them according to the technical requirements in order to realize efficient control and automation systems. Individual customer requirements are transferred to customized electrotechnical solutions and technical details are agreed with the adjacent areas of mechanical design, automation technology and software development. From assembly to commissioning to final acceptance, you accompany the electrotechnical implementation of the systems and assist in technical questions and the optimization of existing systems. By taking into account existing electrotechnical standards and safety guidelines, you will ensure a professional and reliable design of the machines and systems. With the creation and maintenance of technical documentation, lists and electrotechnical documents, you will ensure transparent project processes and facilitate the subsequent maintenance and further development of the systems.

You have completed further training on the technicians of electrical engineering, automation technology or mechatronics. Alternatively, you have successfully completed an engineering degree in electrical engineering, automation technology, mechatronics, control and control technology or a comparable degree course. You bring practical experience in the electrical construction of machines and plants, ideally in special machine construction, and are familiar with the creation of current and switching plans. When handling EPLAN Electric P8 you feel safe and use the software to create and process electrotechnical constructions. Knowledge in control and automation technology as well as in the selection and dimensioning of electrical components help you transfer complex technical requirements into reliable plant solutions. Ideally, you have basic knowledge of optoelectronics, laser technology or measurement technology and are familiar with relevant electrotechnical standards and the basics of machine safety.
