WHY THE ROLE FOR YOU SPEAKING IS... As a disciplinary leadership, you take full responsibility for your department. This means you meet operational and personal decisions and promote the personal development of your team members.

You control your department using key figures and quickly initiate effective countermeasures in case of deviations. Your analytical skills help you identify potentials and make processes more efficient.

You ensure that the standards for health and safety are complied with. In addition, you work closely with other departments to guarantee a smooth operation throughout the logistics center.

You actively introduce your own ideas to optimize processes and drive innovations forward. You are an important leader who shares visions of the future with management.

YOU KNOW WHAT?

You have completed a degree course or a comparable training and have several years of experience in logistics, ideally already in a disciplinary leadership position of more than 20 employees.

You are strong in communication, motivate your team and keep a cool head even in challenging situations.

Your expertise in logistics processes, the labour law and the business constitution law allows you to act quickly and efficiently.

You use operating key figures as a control instrument, identify unused potentials and have a solid knowledge of work and health protection.

Your knowledge of German on C2 level and English on B2 level facilitate daily communication.

LOCATION: Giessen

Our European logistics network is growing: we are currently in the preparatory phase for the opening of our new state-of-the-art site in Gießen (Hessen), which is just an hour away from Frankfurt am Main. It is fully operated by Zalando and will create around 1,700 new jobs. The 130,000 square meter logistics center is expected to start the regular operation in summer 2026. From Gießen, customers will be supplied in Germany and abroad. We are looking forward to increasing our efficiency with this new location and delivering a greater range of products to our customers. .
