The OP areas at the UKU have a total of 32 OP rooms. Here, outpatient and stationary operations are carried out in the following fields: General and Visceral Surgery with the section Children Surgery Accident, hand, plastic and restoration surgery Heart, thorax and vascular surgery Neurosurgery and paediatric neurosurgery Urology and Kinderurologie dermatology Ophthalmology Neck and neck surgery Women's Health and Obstetrics Orthopaedic The OP coordinator (w⁠/⁠m⁠/⁠d) is responsible for the organization and coordination of the daily OP operation within the agreed OP meetings. It ensures a smooth, efficient OP run-off, acts as a central interface between all the professional groups involved and controls the need-oriented OP planning.

Your main tasks are: Providing and developing performance indicators and OP process controlling Ensuring continuous OP reporting Implementation of the OP stage Coordination of emergency interventions Overview and planning of human capacity Co-responsibility for planning and implementing optimization processes Organization, moderation and follow-up of OP feedback talks You report directly to the Head of the OP Management staff

Completed OTA or ATA training or three-year nursing training with relevant professional experience in the OP Further training desirable Funded knowledge of hospital procedures with focus on surgical clinics and solid clinical knowledge Outstanding communication and cooperation capability Embossed team capacity, conflict resolution competence and solution orientedness High self-initiative with strong organisational skills and enforcement capability High level of readiness for performance, responsibility and change Funded IT skills (MS-Office, in particular MS-Excel and SAP) Additional training or willingness to complete this
