Tool Designer Mold Making in Tool Making (m/f/d)

Construction and development of injection and metal casting tools for series and prototype parts Assessment of component design in injection mouldability in early development phases Evaluation of component and tool concepts in terms of feasibility, process stability and effort Introducing optimization proposals to reduce change and reworking expenses Technical coordination with product design, work preparation, manufacturing and external tool manufacturers Accompanying tool removal, initial sampling and serial operations Active participation in continuous improvement processes

Continuing training for master / state-tested technicians or bachelor (machine engineering, production technology or plastic technology) multi-year professional experience Good knowledge of CAD systems (ideally Cimatron) and injection molding simulation systems Basic MS Office applications Good knowledge of English in word and writing (for technical coordination, documentation and communication with international customers and suppliers)
