Number: MER00040VF The Procurement and Supplier Quality Mercedes-Benz Cars and Vans (MP) Directorate carries out the global purchasing and quality activities for the cars and vans of the Mercedes-Benz and smart brands. MP stands for strategic design and operational implementation of global procurement activities and material group strategies with the aim of optimizing the entire value chain and unlocking cost-cutting potentials. As a team purchasing engine management, we are responsible, among other things, for the global purchase of the sizes of petrol-injection, engine sensor technology, engine and transmission control units, starters, generators, stop-start systems, SCR system, ignition and incandescent and are integrated into the Powertrain area. Your tasks include: Participation and cooperation in the entire award process from the global request on offer analyses and price negotiations to the conclusion of the contract Participation in potential development through cost workshops and negotiations with international suppliers Preparation of supplier reviews and contract awards to suppliers Designing Sourcing Strategies and Benchmark Activities Participation and implementation of current projects

Study programme in the field of BWL, engineering, mathematics or a comparable study programme Secure knowledge of German and English in word and writing Safe handling of MS Office Commitment and team skills Analytical thinking and strategic working Please note that your internship at this site must have a prescribed mandatory share.
