CIO Executive Solution Manager (m/w/d)

As a primary digitization partner of the Bundeswehr, we provide stable, safe and efficient IT services in Germany and abroad, from basic operations to the field close to the application and thus contribute to the continuous increase in the leadership and operational capacity of the Bundeswehr. With over 7,000 colleagues, we operate and modernise one of the largest and most complex IT infrastructures in Germany. We are looking for responsible IT specialists who are convinced that the Bundeswehr-IT will further develop in challenging digitalization projects and thus contribute to Germany's security. Together with us, you are worried about the future digital capability of the Bundeswehr. CIO Executive Solution Manager (m/w/d) from now on and in full time in Bonn, Frankfurt, Koblenz, Munich or Nuremberg. CIO is responsible for strategic orientation, business partner management, enterprise architecture management and solution, and Service Management for BWI's corporate IT.

Responsibility for budget and order management: They ensure the demand- and budget-oriented provision of complex IT solutions, monitor cost developments (Plan/IST/Forecast) and commission internal and external service providers. In addition, you initiate and control independently projects for the further development of the IT landscape.

Quality and service management: They are responsible for maintaining and continuously improving Service Level Agreements (SLAs), conducting service reviews and regularly review licensing situation and quality of the IT solutions.

Ensuring compliance and risk management: They ensure compliance with data protection and IT security requirements, conduct Business Impact analyses and derive optimization potentials and measures. You will also accompany internal and external audits.

Consulting, analysis and interface function: They create decision-making bases for cross-disciplinary IT topics, advise the management and represent the CIO to other disciplines.

Project portfolio management: Together with your vTeam and in coordination with other portfolio managers, you will identify and plan and prioritize measures from the IT target building planning.

Completed IT-related studies of (economic) informatics or equivalent completed vocational training

6 years of relevant professional experience with tasks as IT Solution, Portfolio or IT Service Manager

Reliable experience in implementing strategic measures

Experience in IT solutions management

Experience in communication and cooperation with C-Level Management

First experiences in agile work and in cross-functional teams

Willingness to take over the Ownership for the topics in question
