The SOS-Kinderdorf e.V. is a well-known aid organisation and a free, non-profit body of child and youth assistance with 38 facilities throughout the federal territory and around 5,200 employees.  The SOS Children's Village Worpswede is part of the nationwide association SOS-Kinderdorf e.V.. With more than 350 employees, we work as a strong free partner between Weser and Elbe in all areas of child and youth assistance. Building on our strong roots, we support over 1000 children, young people and their families today in consultation, day care and education. In the SOS Children's Village Worpswede we are looking at the next time Teachers / Social teachers / Psychologists (B.A) (m/w/d) for our housing groups in permanent employment, full time or part-time (min. 30 - max. 38.5 hours/Where.)Â

In our housing groups with different conceptual focuses, five to eight children aged 4 to 16 will find a safe home. Our goal is to create a safe place of life where You can feel secure and develop with joy of life. In a trusted atmosphere and on the basis of a reliable and professional relationship, children and young people are supported and guided in their individual development and on their way to a self-sufficient life. As a pedagogical specialist, you will take care and delivery of five to eight children in the shift service together with your team colleagues. Through the interplay of your expertise and empathy, you create the individual development of the children. You actively participate in the education and assistance planning of the children and are oriented here to the quality requirements of the SOS Children's Village Association. In cooperation with cooperation partners, official bodies and other assistance and support systems, you take responsibility and trade cooperatively. You build a trusted cooperation with the children's origin systems. You carry out general economic activities in connection with the educational mission. You regularly take part in the service meetings, supervisions, specialist conferences and other events. When performing your tasks, you pay attention to the conscientious implementation of child protection and care protection.

You are an educatorin or a social teacherin or a psychologistin (B.A) or a medical teacherin or a medical teacher*in or a similar qualification. Pre-experiences in the area of child and youth assistance are worthwhile. You draw your attention through reflection efforts, endurance and perseverance in order to create professional life for children insecure to bond and to impart stability to them. You have well-founded expertise and at the same time bring the desire for continuous personal and professional further development together with the team to create a continuous and exciting environment for the children. You enrich the design of everyday life with the children through your imagination. You bring together sophisticated team spirit and thus contribute to a trusted, open and constructive cooperation, which is tested by a lived positive error culture. In the encounter with people from different cultural and social backgrounds you will show a prejudice-free, respectful and value-giving attitude. You have a valid class B licence.
