As Head of Technology (m/w/d) - Wood Coatings / Wood Coatings take over a central leadership and design role within the technical organization. You are responsible for the further development of existing and new coating systems, driving technical innovations and ensuring that customer requirements, market trends and regulatory developments are translated into competitive product solutions. You play a central role in the interface between technology, market and product development and actively shape the company's technological development. In particular, you expect the following tasks:

Further development of the technical area in the Wood Coatings / Wood Coatings segment Close cooperation with management, laboratory, application technology, quality assurance, sales and international research & development Development of innovative product solutions based on customer and market requirements Responsibility for the further development of the product portfolio to successful market launch Technical advice and support for sales in demanding customer projects Advice from customers to paint structures, application technologies and process optimization Monitoring market, competition and technology trends and deriving new impulses for product and business development

You have well-founded experience in the wood lacquer industry and know both modern coating systems and the requirements of industrial customers.

Both experienced technical leaders as well as technically strong personalities from the fields of technical sales, technical sales, application technology, technical service, product management, laboratory or product development, which want to bring their market and technology expertise to a responsible key position. Ideally, you will also bring: Technical studies, e.g. chemistry, paint technology, wood technology, material sciences or a comparable qualification Multiannual professional experience in Wood Coatings / Wood Coatings Knowledge of modern paint technologies and industrial application processes Market and competitive knowledge as well as a good network within the wood lacquer industry Entrepreneurial thinking, strong customer orientation and joy in connecting technology and sales Very good knowledge of German and English
