Country Manager DACH in direct placement (m/f/d)

For our clients, we are looking for an exclusive search mandate as an experienced leader as a country manager DACH (m/w/d). In this key role, you take over the overall responsibility for the business in Germany, Austria and Switzerland as well as the operational management of the central location in southwest Germany. Their focus is on the further development of the organization, the professionalization of processes and structures, as well as the management of powerful teams in the fields of commercial operations, procurement, logistics and quality. In doing so, you combine P&L responsibility, operational excellence and entrepreneurial action with a visible, pragmatic and binding leadership on site.

Total responsibility for the operating business in Germany, Austria and Switzerland, including full P&L management and management of growth, profitability and performance Operational management of the site with the aim of developing structures, professionalizing processes, sharpening responsibilities and increasing the organisation's performance sustainably Planning and control of targets, budgets, resources and forecasts as well as ensuring effective performance and risk management in close cooperation with international interfaces Leadership, development and structuring of local teams in the fields of commercial operations, purchasing/creation, logistics, quality assurance and other supporting functions Development and implementation of market introduction, procurement and sales strategies as well as the establishment and maintenance of resilient relationships with customers, manufacturers, partners and relevant market participants in the pharmaceutical and biotech environment Ensuring efficient, scalable and GDP/GMP-compliant end-to-end scale chain processes along procurement, planning, distribution, logistics and customer supply Responsibility for compliance with regulatory requirements and close cooperation with quality and regulatory aviation functions, including audit preparation, certifications and continuous improvement of quality and compliance processes Initiation and implementation of transformation and change projects as well as optimization, standardization and digitization of processes and control instruments for the sustainable improvement of operational performance

Complete studies in life sciences (e.g. pharmacy, biology, medicine) or in economics - ideally supplemented by an MBA or comparable further education At least 15 years of professional experience in pharmaceutical wholesale, distribution or in adjacent areas of life science industry Experience in a medium-sized environment and a deep understanding of the pharmaceutical and biotech market in the DACH region with a resilient network to manufacturers, clinics, authorities and associations Detectable experience in P&L management, business planning, budgeting and forecasting as well as in the management of cross-sector or multi-site organisations Funded knowledge in GDP/GMP, quality management systems, audit environments and regulatory requirements in the pharmaceutical environment Very good knowledge of German and English readiness to travel regularly within the DACH region and international locations Entrepreneurial, hands-on mined mindset with high presence in day-to-day business, strong earnings orientation and the ability to develop structures and processes sustainably Proven leadership experience in the development of powerful teams as well as the successful management of transformation, change and scaling processes Impressed communication strength, high social competence and the ability to combine different interests, make decisions and actively promote an open, trusting corporate culture High level of autonomy, judgment and decision-making combined with a pragmatic and solution-oriented approach
