We are looking for a plant leader for our team in Augsburg (m/w/d). The job is to be filled in full time (3 shifts).

Your duties

• Preparing, securing and monitoring of operations and heat treatment processes taking into account work safety, quality and schedule
• Composition and construction of batches
• Dealing with heavy glowing parts (operating a load crane)
• Plant operation, e.g. atmosphere shaft furnaces

Your profile

• Qualification: completed vocational training as a material examiner (industry heat treatment) or comparable, alternatively multiannual relevant professional experience in heat treatment/hardening
• Know-how: well-founded knowledge of heat treatment types Use hardness, nitriding, heat treatment and glowing as well as experience in simple test tasks and in handling heavy and hot parts (sickness operation)
• Programs: Knowledge of MS Office, SAP and/or ERP systems (AMS) are advantageous
• Soft Skills: Reliability, teamability and operational readiness as well as high loadability even under time pressure - with high precision of work results
• Availability: Ready to work in 3-shift operation and ready-to-be service on weekends
• Languages: good German language skills in word and writing
