As part of the internationally operating PCC Energy Group, Wilhelm Schulz GmbH is a globally operating company with specialization on pipe accessories in stainless steel and higher alloyed materials. Seamless and welded pipe accessories are produced at the headquarters of the two locations in Krefeld. The oil & gas industry, chemical & petrochemicals, water treatment & desalination plants and shipbuilding are supplied. Various heat treatments are carried out in the special annealing operation of the company. The company operates at the two locations in Krefeld ca. 160 employees.

In 1946 Wilhelm Schulz founded the company, which was held until 2017. In 2017 Precision Castparts Corporation (PCC) bought Wilhelm Schulz GmbH. PCC is one of the largest foundry companies in the USA, which was taken over in 2016 by Berkshire Hathaway, whose chairman is the US major investor Warren Buffet.

Since 2017 it is now called Tradition meets Internationality - Wilhelm Schulz GmbH, a PCC Company.

Professional and disciplinary leadership of currently 28 employees from the Maintenance and Forming departments Responsible for the area of tool construction Leadership, development and support of employees and task and personnel deployment planning Contact for process-related areas such as production planning, production, quality Continuous improvement of processes, machines, systems and systems Documentation of the work carried out Ensure installation, commissioning, maintenance, troubleshooting and troubleshooting of machines and systems (hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, electrical) Ensuring technical drawings preferably in CAD Reducing machine downtime Planning and preparing modernization measures for machines, plants and systems Ensuring quality and timing in the execution of maintenance work Make-or-Buy decisions in coordination with operations Monitoring and optimization of form processes with up to 10,000 tons Ensuring compliance with process parameters, quality standards and tolerances Support in process improvements to increase efficiency and quality Enforcement of safety regulations and occupational safety directives Organisational training on safety, lean concepts and their implementation Creation of reports on machine condition, downtime, KPIs and maintenance

At least 5 years of professional experience in a technically comparable profession and at least 2 years of leadership experience At least technical training with qualification as master Technical study programme desirable Experience in a manufacturing company from the metal industry desirable High level of technical understanding Knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical and electrical systems Training certificate desirable Care, reliability and accuracy High commitment and flexibility Hands-on mentality, high motivation and a high degree of flexibility Team skills Ability to motivate, coach and inspire employees High resilience and ability to work efficiently in challenging situations
