Senior IT System Administrator Server and Networks

Administration Monitoring and maintenance of IT infrastructure (servers, clients, network components) Planning, operation and optimization of LAN/WAN/WLAN networks Administration of Linux servers User and Rights Management Management of virtualization environments (e.g. Proxmox) Supporting firewall, VPN and security solutions Analysis and troubleshooting (2nd and 3rd level support) Working with IT projects (e.g. migrations, cloud connections, security concepts) Creation and maintenance of system and network documentation Ensuring backup, recovery and patch management processes

Complete training or studies in the field of computer science, IT system integration or comparable qualification Multiannual professional experience as IT system or network administrator Very good knowledge of network protocols and services (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLAN, VPN) Windows and Unix server environments Network hardware (switches, routers, firewalls)

Experience with virtualization and storage systems Basic knowledge of IT security and data protection Analytical thinking, structured working and team skills and joy in interdisciplinary cooperation Good knowledge of German and English
