Our department VAN/EKR is responsible for the development of the building, doors and Corrosion protection both in the current series and for the design of the new VAN.xA platform. This platform combines vehicles with different drive concepts and configurations and extends from the VLE / VLS to the successor of the sprinter. Our team serial support, corrosion protection & attachments is responsible for the support of all series topics of the ongoing VAN series for the raw materials and corrosion protection. In addition, we are responsible for the new development of the components, partition & load protection and the corrosion protection for the future vehicles of the VAN.xA platform. You will get the following insights during your internship: Development of concepts and series solutions of individual parts and assemblies in the area of attachments, partition & load protection as well as corrosion protection Total vehicle, which meet the requirements of the interface areas (e.g. works, joining technology & production capability) as well as legal and internal regulations

Developing technical solutions with development partners in India and Germany

Module group work with various interface partners from development, quality, production, logistics, cost planning and purchasing

The internship can start from November 2026. You get the full support of the team at every stage of your internship. In addition, there is the possibility to extend individually to thematic areas.

Study of mechanical engineering (focusing on construction), vehicle engineering or a technical field of study with the focuses, e.g. automotive engineering, construction or body construction

Secure knowledge of German and English in word and writing
